National Concert Orchestra of Great Britain..

The remit of the National Concert Orchestra, is the performance of ‘light popular music’ - a category of music noticeable by it’s absence in Great Britain.

In 2008, it was the only orchestra in Great Britain which performed a live concert in celebration of the centenary of the greatest light music composer of all time – Leroy Anderson !

The National Concert Orchestra provided the accompaniment for the classic 'Bat – the Symphony' concerts on tour during 2009 and 2010.

It also performed a number of 'The VIENNA PROMS' concerts during 2009 and will be touring this programme again between June and September 2011. It will also be presenting it's 'LAST NIGHT OF THE PROMS' concerts during the summer, and latter half of the year.

The Orchestra is available in two size configurations : 45 piece and 30 piece.
